Our teachers are skilled in a variety of styles of dance. They all continue their education and are CLi Certified instructors.

Classes Offered
We offer a wide variety of classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and combination classes. Our dancers range in age from 3-18. We have dancers who are recreational as well as competition team dancers who are taking dance to the next level. We welcome all abilities and ages.

How do I register for a dance class?
Please go to Northern Lights Dance Academy Home (gomotionapp.com) to register for any dance classes at Northern Lights Dance Academy.
What is required class attire?
All combination class dancers wear any colored leotard, tan tights, black tap shoes and pink ballet shoes. The boys should wear comfortable clothing and black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.
For level I and higher classes dancers should wear form fitted clothing they can dance in. The ballet classes are required to wear a leotard. All items can be purchased at www.shopnimbly.com/nldadance
How much are costumes?
Each class is required to purchase one costume for the spring recital. Costume costs vary for each class and are anywhere from $70-$80. All payments are paid 1/2 in January and 1/2 in February.
When are the recitals?
All dancers are welcome to participate in our Winter Showcase. It is held in December. The spring recital is held at an auditorium and dancers wear their costumes. Both shows are fun and will showcase all the dancer has been learning in their classes.
